Participate in The Sustainability Workshop’s Bright Ideas! Summer Pilot Program

Bright Ideas! is looking for 25 households in the City of Philadelphia to participate in a pilot program that will look at residential lighting usage. Bright Ideas! will replace your most heavily used incandescent bulbs with free high LEDs.

In order to identify a diverse cross section of homes (size, number of residents, types of lighting) we are requesting that you complete a simple survey. If you are selected, representatives of Bright Ideas! will visit your residence to perform a lighting audit and collect real-time data about your lighting usage and costs. This information is for research purposes and your identity will not be shared.  At the conclusion of the study, we will provide you with approximately $160 of highly efficient LED bulbs. If you are not selected, we will send you a big thank you, a Bright Ideas! pen.

Bright Ideas! is a project of students at the Sustainability Workshop, whose mission is to unleash the creative and intellectual potential of young people to solve the world’s toughest problems.  For more information visit us at www.workshopschool.org.
