Representatives from Philadelphia Industrial Development Corporation (PIDC) and the Delaware Valley Industrial Resource Center (DVIRC), both GPIC/HUB members, will be attending the World Energy Engineering Congress from December 8 to 10 in Washington, DC.
Joe Houldin, Barry Miller, and Sharon Ross from DVIRC, and Will Agate from PIDC, will collectively represent The Navy Yard Clean Energy Campus. Ray McCaffrey from Duke Energy Generation Services (DEGS) will also be attending. PIDC contracted with DEGS to operate, manage, maintain and jointly upgrade The Navy Yard’s electric and steam systems. As part of its responsibilities, DEGS oversees system upgrades and manages the distribution of electricity and steam at the complex.
If anyone attending the conference would like to arrange a meeting to discuss The Navy Yard Clean Energy Campus or the GPIC/HUB, please contact Cynthia Johns at cjohns@pidc-pa.org.
